what a nightmare all started last week new clutch, new diff, new tyres, new handling set up,
first run position 6 loads of clutch slip, over adjusted clutch; pants
13.92/99mph 115mph top speed
2nd run readjusted clutch position 3 shit take off 13.81/108mph 168.1mph top speed
3rd run position 6 great take off
gearlever snaps 1st to 2nd
change it rest of the way on stub
14.05/97mph 168.9mph
4th run position 7 new 15mm spanner gearlever (pics shown later)
14.47/111mph 172.6mph
still enjoyed myself,

too much hassle prefer trackdays looking forward to donny now sorry to let the cossie team down, c u all at national day steve

Please do not think in any way that you let the team down
. I know for a fact that there is an art to launching a car of this Kaliber
.
The fact that you put your car on the line and did the business (with broken parts) - speaks volumes. Love the "not going to give-up" attitude, and maybe this first TOTB for you, will see you learn from your experiences to improve the car for next year
