I managed to sell my rs in the end (after three goes on ebay) for £1020.. Not bad seeing it didnt have any t&t an the headgasket gone aswell.. So i brought this k reg 1.9 8v TURBO 200 bhp at 12psi.
Wot u think??? It seems to be more solid than a rs, plus it dont torque steer about as much as my old rs`s, an the handling is great, an its better on juice £20 back from wallsall (180mls)..

And yes i know the exhaust is a bit funny.. an the bloke cut a hole in the bonnett to give more air flow.. er not summit i would of done.

The headgasket had gone an the m.o.t an tax had run out, i wasnt working much at the time to fix an t&t it, so i had to get rid or the council man would of taken it...

i had a 309 gti about 10 years ago and i loved it..........used to handle pukka and go like stink

 

I had a race with a type r through medway tunnel an i was just pulling away from him, come out the tunnel an noticed it was on low boost (6 psi bout 185bhp)
Its all stripped out in the back just needs a cage.. I Get a few surprised looks when i blast past lol.. Very minimal lag, but its about as far as it will go without
changing the management £1000 - £1500 for 30-40 more bhp..

 

Looks alright that, id put the exhaust back in its normal place and get a nice 3-4" round one and re-locate the rear number as i think it looks totally out of place where it is , other than that good motor

Thanks people for your comments didnt know how it would go down on here but im glad most of you seem to like it. If its not ford then my 2nd choice is peugeot, This was cheep so i had to have it..
An yes i think i will sort out the back end an a new bonnett. There the only things that let it down.. Thanks ppl

Put it this way £1000 for a 200bhp car with t&t that has been looked after by colin at pug performance an is probably the most solid car ive had,

Plus it keeps up or beats most things on the road. how could i say no..
