Has anyone changed Series 1 Gearbox seals themselves ?
Gearbox is out of my Series 1, and while its out i will be cleaning it up etc and would like to replace the old oil seals (4 i believe)
Question is, is this a DIY job ? Has anyone done it themselves and whats involved ?
Just want to get an idea before i get set on doing it and cant lol

Driveshaft oil seals ?
Simple 1 spanner job if thats what you mean
1 spanner being the Haynes manual rating, not the number you need to throw at the wall before being sucessful.... although the two are a little related

The big 2 are driveshaft oil seals - simple job to change
Never done the others tho
In fact I have some original Ford ones here on my desk at the moment as i do them often.
I think I pay about 38p each for them in bulk
