Just sold my S2 half an hour ago.Very sad to see her go.Got the price i wanted for her tho.Enjoyed every minute of driving it.Now i gotta look for a new car.
Such a horrible feeling seeing someone drive off in your rs turbo.

I put it on the auto trader website 2 wks for £15.Its been 7 days and i had two-three calls every day for it.I got £2500 for it

What you want it for ? Everyday car, weekend toy ?

 

everyday car,sad i know but econmical due to change of workplace.

 

If moneys an issue then get a diesel. If money permits the TD Golfs are fanstastic, as are Focus's and Mondeo's.

 

Yeah i quite like Focus's actually.Cant afford RS,but what are the ST170's like?

 

ST170's a re great cars, go well, handle well. But if you're on a budget mate..................

 

gunna have bout 7k to spend!

 

Might struggle to get an ST170 for that, or anything decent...........but have a scout round, there may be some for that now.

 

Do they go well?Can they be tuned fairly easily?What do you need to get the best performance out of them?

 

The best ? Throttle bodies mate !!!!!

They can be tuned yeah, but TBH as an everyday car an air filter, maybe a Bluefin and an exhaust would be enough

That belongs to my mate and is a PROPER weapon !!!!

 

believe me it was a hard decision to decide to put it up for sale.The problem was i constantly seemed to be standing at the optimax pump at my local shell garage.It really was in fantastic condition.That focus is very nice.Trying to persuade the girlfriend on that one might be a bit harder.

Mr S1 has he still got it for sale cos in that thread it said he had decided not to sell it.It looks a mean focus!

 

He's keeping it now. It's a real toll, it really is.............it's as clean up close as it looks from a distance. He's a real nice bloke too

 

I drive an ST170 and I'm loving it.

Worth the money I spent!
