Default Stuart white/ChrisAmsport/Andy gallacher

Thats us home from snetterton after a nearly 6 hour journey congradulations stuart for his 1st place & chris for second
& im sure andy would have been in the top 3 if he had
brought his rain tyres .Instead at 3oclock when the race was
starting chris & stuart changed to wet tyres andy had to say with
the dry ones giving him virtually no grip at all. .
It was a good day it was sad to see steve scotts car fail as it would
have been good to see them all going for it on the race.
At the start of the day chris had a few teathing probs on quallifiying
which was sorted out as did andy with his boost(harvey & his lap
top sorted that & it was time to wait for the race.Stuarts car broke
n/s/f ball joint that was a easy fix & he was ready to
Bearing in mind chris & andy found out that the am sport fiesta & andys focus were kicked out due to certain front runners one in particular
Malcom Wise getting a pettition against their cars entering the race when they had raced & passed scroutineering and regs at mallory park 2 weeks before but never mind..so on wed 5 april they found this out leaving them 3 days to get two escort cossies built which they managed they stripped the focus & fiesta & built the cars & made it to snetterton
& after all the hastle we were all delighted to see stuart & chris lap Malcom Wise in the race for his poor sprotsmanship
Top effort

Top job lads. Was a great day. Stewart Whyte's cossie Just seemed to have so much more grip than any of the other cars and was so fking quick down the straights. Was a pleasure to watch. At least they beat A certain Mr Wise as well

Top effort to them both

Found out from Bill on Sat what they were doing and nearly pissed myself as it just shows you what bad sportmanship there really is with some people

I must admit, when I knew something was going to happen I was half expecting the fiesta and focus to be on the track painted bright pink or something and holding all the other cars up

Chris wont part with the fiesta a know that he will build it again as far
as a know.
But am not sure a think andy might part with the focus shell as he is keeping the escort.
They can do other championships in them but to do the one they did today
they need the escorts so there would be no point in swapping over all the time.

Steve scotts car was impressive today in quallifying as well.
And as for the ban steve also sufferd having one of his fiesta 4x4
cosworths banned for the same reason chris & andy did.
Altough steve made it 2wd for the race which looked a bit hairy coming of the first corner broadside

Its a shame that it had to happen this way but when you have these old timers who cant take a bit of competition from some new faces. Well done to andy and chris for doing what they did. A lot of people would've just threw in the towel but they boys did well and rubbed Mr Wise's nose in it as well. Its a crying shame that two stunning and different cars had to be split to do it though. At least they now know that andy , chris and stuart are here to stay...

I wondered if it was rwd, he couldnt get any traction for as far down the start finish straight as I could see. Looked lethal that thing. I was sitting on russels at the time.

Chris was talking to steve scott just after quallifying & malcom wise
walked up not knowing that chris was there n said they scotts lads arent having much luck chris turned round & laughed.
Well as the old saying goes he who laughes last laughes loudest

Malcolm Wise is gonna regret everything he's done. And he's brought it all on himself. Now eveeryine knows what he's like and he's gained nothing out of it.

Hope everyone saw the Motors TV programme which showed the Mallory Park race from 2 weeks ago. They had camera in Andy's Focus, and anyone but the blind can see that Andy was not at fault for the crash. In fact you can clearly see the Fiesta driven by Ollie Allen move into the Focus and cause the accident....

For anyone that does not get that channel, a clip of it will be up on a web site soon....

yup, I saw it looked like the Fiesta cut across the front of the Focus.

..and whoever mounted that in-car camera needs shooting

This is another point as well at mallory park stuart white came 1st
& chris 2nd-chris had a good race & deserved his place as he had nothing to do with the ollie crash simply because he was in the am sport fiesta & andy was drivin the focus.
Chris came away thinking he was 2nd because he was then on motors tv
it shows malcom wise 2nd
Chris then found out his points had been taken of him
He has contested & he will have his points back he spoke at snetterton
to them involved yesterday
This just shows another advantage of a sore loser front runner
enough said

The rules also state:

Class F will apply to any vehicle entered
as an experimental or development car
by or for or on behalf of or in connection with
Ford Motor Company Limited, or any Ford Dealership, and such a vehicle or vehicles will
compete on merit and shall be liable for championship points in that class. Class F will
comply with the FIA regulations for saloon cars........

.......Unless otherwise permitted drive from the engine must remain in the configuration as
type approved and manufactured, i.e. Front Wheel Drive/Rear Wheel Drive/Four Wheel
Drive.
If they were allowed to race in the previous race and passed scrutineering, then surely the 4wd was permitted?

There is also provision for 2wd cars to move the driven wheels to rear when previously FWD - which is what I guess Steve Scott did with his Fiesta.

Basicly wise & rainer got their but kicked + wernt happy they must have sat with the rule book sived through it & came up with a excuse!
Chris got his points yesterday back & they told chris that class F is scrapped hence how the fiesta & focus wernt allowed to race.

Oh, so it was Stuart I can blame for Harvey sending me half way across the county for a TCA, only to find out 20 miles into the journey he had sorted it .

Was a nice drive out .
