Well, the
metro is ready to hit the road - (assuming its not SO horrible I decide to drive it into the nearest tree) - but I still havent got the V5 back.
The question is: Can you still tax it with a form from the Post Office - or do I have to wait?
I know you used to be able to, but I havent done it for years.
Incidently - there is a couple of old blankets in the boot, I recon if i unfold them, there will be eye holes cut in them for driving through town!

Oh bugger - I thought so!
I only wanted it to save petrol in the cossie - cos Ive got to commute for a couple of weeks, at the rate the DVLA move it will be too late.
Still, the fine for no tax wouuld be cheaper than fueling the cossie. And if they want to take it and crush it - i wouldnt care!
No,no i mustnt - that would be wrong!
