A microfibre cloth is a good safe thing to use (ever so slightly damp if needed- not wringing with water, but try it dry first). Be careful of using household cleaners.

Alternatively, you can buy LCD screen cleaner (basically, a 50/50 isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and water mixture.) Although some manufacturers say don't use any alcohol at all.

Obviously (I hope ) with the power OFF.

Household cleaners aren't for cleaning 'delicate' LCD screens

The microfibre cloths are an excellent way of getting a really good finish on the motor when buffing off wax too, so get a couple .

They can be washed, but DO NOT use fabric conditioner when doing so, it'll make them ineffective.

I clean mine once a week but use mildly damp kitchen roll. Works a treat.
