Just wondered if anyone was going, me and a few mates are going down.

Hopefully the weather should be nice and i can get some good runs in.

O it £45 for unlimited runs 1/4 mile and top speed if anyone is interested

May pop down for a look, only around the corner really. Do you know any times etc, or would half nine onwards be a safe bet.

 

Is there anywhere to have a "play" at elvington??

 

Ye sunday the 9th, there is a good space to have a "play" cause they usually just park everyone on the runway theres always a bit of tarmac thats there for the taking

As for times i think signing on is from 8 then its open till 5ish i think

I have been a few times but never run, this will be my first time out so just watch for the nervouse looking lad with the black darth vador lid and the black integra with the 195db exhaust

 

Is there a noise limit???

 

115db is the noise limit which is pretty relaxed imo, i am taking my bung just incase though, as my car is LOUD

Not surewhen york is but i have heard a load of people complain about the strip there saying its as bumpy as hell, but i aint run up it so cant comment really.

The reason i am doing elvington instead is because of the top speed runs with you cant do at york

 

The strip is ok, its just off it thats crap

Alps - get yourself down york a week on sunday anyway

 

yep.16th.week on sunday.
dont need to do top speed cos its still got the limiter on(155mph) which it hits everytime at elvington.
