Just bought a second hand turbo for my frst but before I begin to change it will I need to get new gaskets for it if it has any, if so what will I need to get. I have just got the turbo so will have to connect it to the manifold and all pipes and actuator need connecting.

 

You need to get a exhaust manifold gasket and a oil return pipe gasket if your new turbo is bare.

 

will that have to be from ford or will i get it from a motor factors

 

sorry for been a pain but will the manifold gasket be from the turbo to the manifold or is it fromk manifold to the block?

 

manifold to head mate, the turbo to manifold dont have a gasket.

as for the oil return gasket when i asked at ford a while ago they told me they dont sell them anymore, maybe you can still get them maybe not, but if you cant get some gasket paper and make ya own
