hi all, just been out in a year 2000 seat cupra with standard 156bhp , the guys had it live mapped at a seat perfomance garage and shown me the graphs for 210 bhp after the map with an incredable 240 lbs of torque i drove the car and gave it some big right foot and have to say a very nice car to drive and performed well, but after drivin it my s2 might just have the edge, iv never been sure how much bhp my s2 runs but ive posted b4 its a bit quicker than a standard scooby, what do peeps think of the cupra turbo? as its a car i cud live with..

my mate has a chipped x reg one, very impressive all round

 

went to santa pod in a mates 200bhp cupra and was well impressed nice interior too

 

cud also be looking at the fiat coupe turbo , and think this is a realy nice car and thay go well, whos got one and whats the cons..

the differance between the cupra and your s2 is , that when you accellerate in the cupra , you wont have to put the dashboard back in after it has vibrated out under the wheel tramp through a crap chassis.
it will still perform nice, drive nice, and be reliable

and yes they are a very good motor, the cupra R starts at 225ps for the late versions from the factory at 9.1:1

 

very true mate its why the s2 is come in to the end..my s2 shakes the fook out of my teeth not to mention my back..
