I don't think it's gonna be THAT bad, unless it's yellow or pink etc. If it's something nice like Imperial blue I can't see it being a problem at all, in fact a nice new mint paint job in a sensible colour on a 15 year old Sierra could easily make it sell better IMO!

Oh and people ALWAYS say that white Saffs are harder to sell 'cos they're so common!

the problem is when you come to sell a cossie we all know that it ain,t that easy. got to have good history, original panels etc, and the first thing that happens when guys come to look at it is that they gonna knock you down, imo the first thing they,ll do is knock the colour if not original. does not matter if it,s a nice job or not. IMO!!

Default colour change on saff cos

thanks for all the comments the car is atwo owner saff with 80000 on the clock it as all its original panels fsh and a massive amount of money spent on it including a 2.4 engine done by power engineering with over 400bhp with the torque to match it is visually stock apart from some 18inch tsw pace alloys and some ap brakes after the comments i think it will be staying white might even return the car to stock visually standard wheels etc for the street sleeper look and then add some nos thanks again for your comments

Its a split decision i think Some dont mind a totally different , un-original colour, so long its painted properly and to its best. Where there's also persons like me that would only buy an original ford painted cosworth. So either way u'd be ok

My mate sprayed his cossie citrus yellow years ago and had white racelines on it.
