Default Duratec Oil Additives

Well its 1st service time for my fiesta ST.

So whilst having to bite my cheek for a £150 oil change, i am considering using some oil additive to keep things slippy and good for the ring trip.

Can any1 recommend any good brands which a) will work best and b) work with the duratec engine.

Im concerned that any addidtive may clog things up with various narrow passage etc articles ive read. Also i give her an oil change every 6 months if that reflects to any decision or advise.

So help me out.... slick50?

NOOOOO!
Just use good quality oil of the right viscosity and change it regularly to keep it clean.
