Default Sticking door handles

I have sticking door handles on my Mondeo, after pulling on the handle to open the door, the handle stays up. Can anybody please suggest an answer on how to correct this problem? It seems its a common problem with Mondeos.

Easiest way to sort it is to remove the door card and spray WD40 or similar to the handle and work it untill it moves freely.

WD40

doubt you'd even need to remove the the door card if you mean the one on the outside of the car?

This is common on mondeo door handles, the reason its sticking is because the return spring has become weak, the only way to fix this problem is to either remove the handle completly and replace or soak the whole handle in a bucket / drum of oil. i had a old bucket of oil sat in my shed and dropped the handle in it by mistake ( well i knocked it off my work bench ) finally found it after a couple of days, gave it a wash down with some GUNK ( bright orange container ( Degreaseing agent )) and it worked just fine.

May work it may not, won't know until you try.

SI.

I have this problem. Have WD40'd them a few times and one has improved but the other hasn't.
I've found that the more the handle is used, the better it gets. I always open the rear driver's side door to let my daughter in the back, and to lift my bag for work. The handle on that door is gradually getting less sticky the more its used, and can now close by itself, though it still sticks out a slight amount.

I haven't got round to taking the doorcards off yet but may do this weekend...

This may be of help if the wd40 is of no help.

my dads car got this problem lol

i just havent sprayed the wd40 on it yet, when you shut the door, the handle is stuck in the up position, and it seems as if something is trapped inside the catch, but if you look on the out side lol you find the problem!
