Cat B I thought meant it should only be broken into bits and shouldn't see the road again

Categories of Write-off
A Vehicles in this category have been damaged beyond repair. They will have no
economically salvageable parts and should be crushed.

B Vehicles in this category have been damaged beyond repair and should be crushed, but
may have salvageable parts.

C Vehicles in this category are extensively damaged but may be repaired, however, the
insurer has decided not to repair this vehicle.

D Vehicles in this category are damaged and may be repaired but the insurer has decided not
to repair this vehicle.

F Vehicles in this category are damaged by fire; the insurer has decided not to repair this
vehicle.

There you go, thats the descriptions etc..

If it's mint and drives ok then don't worry about it mate, no need to break it at all!

Especially if the DVLA are happy for it to be on the road!

Where did you get the HPI Check done? Mine was on www.mycarcheck.com , also where I got that information above from

Ahh right, dont know then mate, I wouldnt worry about it if your happy with the car!

How long you had it?

Try and contact the previous seller ask them if they knew about it and what the fuck they were doing not telling you if they did!

Reference the above mate, I don't think it should be on the road let alone a 'Q' Plate

Which insurance companies have you tried? When I quoted a Series 1 last week (which turned out to be a Cat C) none of the insurance companies came back with anything!

Big name ones too, Elephant, Direct Line etc etc
