Yesterday, my new engine went alive and WHAT a sound

It`s been standing in my garage since september 2004 with an blown engine, and now it`s alive with my new 600+spec engine

Big thanx to the guys(autotech malmř) in sweeden for the much appriciated help with the fraight of the car, and thanx to TS-Motor, for fighting with the car to get it fired up

Only thing is the oil return on the turbo is leeking

Now i have to run it in before it`s going back for an full map, and i can`t wait anymore now

awesome dude

also drove my ring taxi today for the first time in months. diff was fitted last night, prop shaft tonight, and new CPS (thanks to woodford motorsport - shame Stu didn't have stock). it was very exciting. the gearbox felt absolutely lovely after the rebuild, even the synchro into reverse is fantastic. can't wait for easter weekend now, just got to fit the front wing tomorrow and fill up some fluids and i'll be driving it for a week or so to get it run in

mines been off the road since oct 2004, off to get taxed and tested later today, has had loads of stuff done inbetween so am looking forward to seeing how it goes.

r+d plated diff
quaife close ratio t5 box
coilovers allround
330mm front brakes (not on yet)

have given it a squirt round the block and a quick blast on the test track but nothing more

And for thoose that say that an gt-35 with 1,06 exhaust housing is laggy...

yes mate. just got to put an indicator in, connect the speedo cable to the gearbox (may have lost the circlip ) and put the exhaust on, and the running in process begins
