Default 2wd head on 200 block ???

Can anybody enlighten me on the subject of fitting a 2wd head on a 200 block ?
I've heard there are some things that need to be changed/matched etc.. ??

200 is a direct replacement for a 205 block

Eric - hope you don't mind me borrowing your thread - I'm in a similar situation to you.

I now know my head will fit thanks to the replies so far - my question is whether my 2wd pistons, rods, crank and oil pump will go over into a 200 block?

Burtonpower list 2wd and 4wd pistons, which makes me think there IS a difference. If so, will I need new pistons?

Thanks in advance

Kurt

the difference in 2wd and 4x4 pistons is their compression ratio and offset gudgeon pin, but they are completely interchangeable.
