I need a pic of a sierra front hub (NON COSWORTH) to compare with my 2wd cossie item, I would like a pic showing the distance from the rack tie rod end to the hub itself. Measurements welcome

Excellent, finally geiitng somewhere
I was hoping someone like you would reply, I really need a measurement of how far the Tie rod mount hole projects forward of the hub carrier, I need one thats shorter than a cosworth item but able to hold my cossie hub. Any pics at all behind your front disks JIM?

only pic ive got.
what are you trying to change on yours? the steering arms? stering rack? what? tell us what youre trying to acheive and we can advise better. at least 4 other people on here know more about it that me
prolly not much use
the sivler hub is a 2wd cossie one, the crusty one is is the std 1.6gl 3dr hub

and in this pic the 2wd cossie avo coil over is on the std 1.6 hub.

i know that 2wd cossie brake calipers wont fit on the std hubs as the offset for them is wrong.

Im trying to alter the steering angle on the cossie power steering rack, it doesnt have enough teeth and the wheels dont fowl on inner or outer arches there just isnt enough teeth on the rack so... If I alter the lever point on the hub carrier i.e. for a shorter item then the same rack throw will have a greater effect on steering angle, so Im after a hub carrier (possibly from a 1.8 or 2.0ltr sierra) with a shorter lever on the rack. OR I get more teeth cut in my rack.
