behave with a set of these cams, and what would be the best set of parts?

I love these cams . Very agressive on the lifters with 10.7mm of lift (from memory). Ideal for a 400bhp engine with the correct spec head etc (also needs valves pocketed). Gives the car a very unusual sound (hard to describe), but changes the note of a Cossie completely.

You must use the correct valve springs with these cams. Std springs will coil bind at this lift.

They eat followers badly, and you can expect to get no more than 10,000miles from a set of followers before they start to sound noisey.

Other than that a good high spec T34 cam.

 

So a set of double valve springs then?

What kind of power/torque is possible, and how is it delivered on an engine with all the right parts?
