my car starts and then dies after about 2 seconds, i need to get this fixed asap and have narrowed it down to the fuelpump. it clicks but doesnt stay on for the period of time it normally does. does any1 know if it is a common problems with the pump or could it be something else.

can you hear the pump prime for 2 seconds with the ignition on before you try and start the engine?

 

sometime it does and somtimes it doesnt thats what is so frustrating, id rather something not work all together then work now and again lol

check the connections and the inerta switch mate,
