Default POWER DELIVERY DIFFERENCES CVHvZVH???

I see alot of people ask about zvh conversions and ive got a 2.0 zvh in mine but what r the differences in the delivery of power between the two???, i mean if u had 250bhp in a cvh and a zvh what would the differences be??.....i always thought the zvh would be best because of the extra low/high torque ................opinions please

i would of thought for around town driving the low down torque would make for a easy drive plus for 1/4 mile stuff because of the torque and the excess weight the zetec would come out on top, but where the cvh excels would be for top speed because of its Ability to rev

rod angles, head able to flow enough air they are just two of the reasons, i expect daz to Clarify and add some more reasons.. dont let this put you off a zvh because they can be made to rev but it costs, so in the long run you are better off going full zetec my last zvh showed peak power @ 5960 rpm but there were a few problems which i have Rectified for my new zvh, once i get my twin plate paddle fitted, i will get her on the rollers..

You'll get a little spike in toruqe from a tubular manifold, will be smoother and more efficient. Allows engine to be more freeflowing. Only for cars with pretty big power though i'd of thought otherwise will really lag things up.

There is no "better" engine IMO. You need to pick the engine which is best for your requirements.

There are several different factors from all engines. Some good, some bad.
