Default t3/t4 hybrid turbo

Hi
I have bought a t3/t4 hybrid turbo of ebay but when came to fit it the turbo fouled on the rocker cover, I am now in dispute with the seller as he did not mention it required mods to fit it. He says it needs a spacer ring. It is now in the hands of paypal to decide who is right as his add said fits cosworth it will also need a waiste gate that he says he sells.
The turbo is to go on a 2wd engine with greens a 330 chip and 3bar map.
this is in my kit car that weights in at about 850 kg.
After a lot of emails back and forward and paypal telling me I need to go to the police for a crime form which I told the seller they had done,
he has now sent me a nice email saying he has found a spacer for the turbo to make it fit.
questions.
What would you lads do tell him to stick the spacer, take the spacer
Paul at rs says with the weight of the car and the type of turbo it will make the car terrible to drive with the turbo coming in at 4000 revs but flat as a fart up to then
what do the rest of you think

That is a big turbo for that spec, a T34 with .48 will clear 380bhp, minimal lag and power from low down, not such a big hit which with your light car the tyres will thank you for. If however you intend to upgrade to top400bhp then this should be a wise investment and you will need the spacer... and wastegate...does it fit under your bonnet they are usually tight with a T3 arent they?

I dont know a lot about turbos whem you say I will get power from low down do you mean low revs as I have been told power will not come in until 4000revs. As for fitting under the hood I havent got that far with it Im still trying to get the seller on ebay to give me my money back.
Paul.
