Default help, car won't start!!

just got my ecu back with the new chip in place and now my car won't start. cranks over all day long but no spark. messed about with plugs and dizzy but no luck. Is there any chance that they could've damged the ecu while putting the chip in stopping it from now fiering up?

They could of damaged it, but its unlikely. Did you disconnect the battery before connecting the ECU?

no didn't disconect battery. think it's the coil so gonna try another one on there tomorrow just seemed too bigger coincidence for it not to have anything to do with the ecu as it was running fine before i took it out.

You're meant to disconnect the battery before unplugging the ECU's just as a matter of good practice, there is a slim chance you may of damaged it by doing this. Unlikely to be something else thats far too co-incidental IMO, but if anything, my money would be on the dizzy.
