Default Need some advice on a track car

Me and my m8 have got a friend who picks up scrap cars, quite often he gets good cars and he has offered them to us for track days. We have just phoned him up and he said that he has got a Rover 216GTI we can have for £50 and it is running spot on. Me and my m8 are going to strip it and have some serious fun even if we smash it up or blow it up. What's the best way of lowering the car as cheap as possible...............ie for about £20, we thought about cutting a hole in the floor and putting a ratchet strap around the axle and pulling it down. At the end of the day if nothing works we are just going to have some fun with it and save the wear and tear on our own track cars. We have also got a Nissan 3000 twin turbo which has had a front end smack, we are going to have a look at this tomorrow.

cheers

garry

Cheapest way of lowering a car???

Heat up the springs with oxy until they sag

Did that on my first car, much cheaper than £20
