Default saph wont start .....

wondering if someone could help, ive just put a 4x4 200 block engine into a 2wd saph, i have changed it back to 2wd and its got a 2wd loom.

is the 4x4 management different ? as there is 2 plugs behind the dizzy 1 for the crank sensor and another that goes to the left hand side of the block to another sensor, what is this for ? as there is no plug for this on the 2wd management

is there anything else that may be different ? i have changed the tps to the 2wd 1 aswell

the car wont even think about starting its turning over ok but doesnt sound like its ever going to start... there is fuel but the spark is weak, i have changed the coil for a group a one and still its the same, any ideas ?

ive also noticed when turning it over the inlet pipe to the throttle body is being sucked in too, its a samco hose and doesnt feel like its weak, so is this right or not ?

sorry for the long list but im out of ideas and i need this thing to start

One is for crank sensor
the other one is for the Knock sensor (round the other side of the block)

Have you still got 4x4 ECU??

if so, you are aware that 2wd Throttle position sensor reads the exact OPPOSITE of 4x4 one (at 100% when 4x4 one is at 0%)

dont think the knock sensor being un plugged would have too much effect.

use everything 2wd
OR everything 4x4 mate.

ie loom, ecu and throttle position sensor,, every other sensor is the
same from 2wd to 4wd im pretty sure

You need the 4x4 TPS(PF09) with the 4x4(L8) ecu

Also if its a 2wd loom you need to swap the 2 outer wires on the TPS plug over to run the 4x4 ECU

Its funny that its sucking in the inlet hose though, are you sure you haven't got a blockage in the intercooler/turbo/airfilter???????

A Samco hose getting squished up just from turning the car over with the starter motor? Sounds pretty fishy.
