polybushes
im thinkin of replacing all the bushes when i rebuild the underside of my s2 with polybushes.i know of polyflex, but ive seen others on ebay etc for alot less.does any1 have any opinions on the bushes?...or recommend any?
I've got Deflex fitted to my S2. They were a right Coont of a job to do, and some say they don't fit as well as others, I've not had a problem in the last year and know lots of people with Deflex kits. Like people say, very well priced.

I've got Powerflex - with polyurethane bushes I personally think it's all about how much noise they transfer into / through the car..........have no experience of the others so can't comment though.

deflex, full set, brilliant, the only problem ones are the steering rack mounts, and the rear tie bar bushes, get some stainless inserts for little more,if you need to know about the tie bar and rack ones ,i have tips.

Depends how much you're about to pay. From deflex I think a full car set for a mk3 escort, including the stainless inserts and delivered is only around £100.
do you have a link to a site for these? for the S1

got a mixture of both on my s1. Would of been powerflex but come to fit the tie bar to chassie one's and they were to small and they didn't do another kind, so deflex made me a set up anyone esle had this problem before on a series1??
Bought DEFLEX for my S2.Didn't fit that well so sold them on E-BAY and got some powerflex ones.FRONTS £75 and the REARS £145.A bit more expesive but fit no problems and superb on the road.As a wise man once said"CHEAP NOT GOOD,GOOD NOT CHEAP".

From: under the cabby... i think.
just fitted all my deflex bushes, all fitted really good!
some advice for people buying them, they do 2 diff sizes for the rear wishbones, inner and outer bushes! one size for if u remove the metal insert that goes around the old bush, what looks as if it doesnt come out, and another size for if u leave the metal insert in! didnt know this until i rang them up yesterday after struggling trying to get them to fit lol
but once i found that out they all fitted easily, am very happy with them
