does anyone have pics of WOLF Sierra cosworth dash ?? rpm goes to 8000 and speedo to 300km/h .

heres one.. apparently the company were into touring cars a while ago and their engines used to rev quite high with some sort of variable cam timing...

 

sorry about pic size i dont no how to change the size but on the rev counter it goes to 10k with a wolf racing logo on it.. anyone else got any info on these cars at all??????????

hi fiesta xr2i, my wolf cosworth escort has the 300kmh speedo clocks,and the boost gauge oilpressure clocks and they are uprated, with der wolf logo on them,if you can still get hold of them you won't be dissapointed.

 

i'm not realy interested in the gauges , just big pics of them .

who is the produser of theese gauges ?? V.D.O ??

we have spoken to owe wolf and he said that it was imposible to get hold of theese speedos now ......

 

i will look at mine,and see if there is another name tucked away in a corner or something,if you could find the original ford supplier,they mighy be able to help,did wolf say whether they still do speedos,as if they do i would say it may be the same people who did the cosworth stuff,and if you ask enough they may start remaking them

I got a WOLF SIERRRA 92 4*4 but the dash was removed .

They also got 2 yellow stickers one on the frt drivers door withtrhe wolf logo on only use 98 octaan and on the fuel filler cap.

you learn something new everyday. anyone got any specs of it and what exactly made it different from the rouse or a standard saph i take it they were only available in 4x4 and was mainland europe only as ive never seen or heard of any in the uk.

No, I have made these clocks myself. It reads 320km/h (200 MPH) instead of the Wolf 300 km/h (187.5 MPH).





And reading your article, WOW, a top speed of 266 km/h (166 MPH) and a reading on the clock of 290 km/h (181 MPH) !!!

now thats a Wolf dash , you can't beat proper rare genuine cosworth stuff.

a lot of grannie stuff is like sierra is like escort if you know what i mean, you can tell somebody had their hand in across the board.
differances between Walter Wolf and Andy Rouse are not that much really, they both prepared Fords for FORD, Wolf owned a Ford dealership too,and tuned Fords from about the late 70's. Wolf prepared/raced RS500's in the DTM which imo was a superior race series to the BTCC.aswell as their being loads of tuning parts that were official ford and available from your German Ford dealer
Wolf still prepare and race Fords for Ford Germany although its Uwe not Walter .
i know of 2 Wolf race cars that turned up in Stockport Cheshire,1 a Sierra and the other a Escort Cosworth

 

Ive just bought one of those dashes LOL. The ones up to 300 MPH. Got it for a bargain price aswell !!!!!

My brother got a escort cosworth monte nr 107 that`s been modified at wolf in germany. This one got full wolf tuning. 300hp 485nm spedo goes to 300kmt,lowerd 40mm stronger suspension,brake disks and pads changed, head gasket group A,clutsh is changed,higher 5gear and rear wing is changed to a small one for high speed. On our road trip back to norway from munchen he had 285kmt on this car.

I would like to get a speedo to my sephire as this engine soon are ready to be mounted

alloy block 2,5liter.
