Default diff oil 2wd ???

which stuff should i use. the diff is out of the car and just been sand blasted as was covered in shite... not sure when was last changed if ever.. also how much oil will it take i guess there is a level somewhere... any help please???

Ford say SAE90 gear oil,there was a topic on here the other day about the same question,pretty sure Bernie(Gearboxman)said 75/90 fully synthetic gear oil is a better oil for the cosworth LSD when its hot

The level bung is a 10mm allen/hex key about halfway up on the diff rear casing

Pretty sure its 1.3 litres capacity m8

ok cheers i was wondered if their was maybe a different oil for an older diff. although it does not make a noise and seems ok .. ill give it a go.. cheers

Just normal gear oil ok then?? Doesnt need a friction modifier due to the lsd at all??
