Default cambelt advice pleeeeeease.....

ok the cambelt was changed about 400 miles ago, however, the car has stood for 4 years in dry storage as well.

do they deteriorate after a time of not being used or should i be ok.

I'd check it visually for any cracks etc just to be on the safe side, although im sure it'll be ok.

i would change it regardless. the cost of a new one compared to the cost of a broken one makes it a no brainer

Don't they say e.g. 60k miles or every 3 years whichever is sooner?
