Default fueling for over 200 bhp

is it recoemended to run a different fuel pump for over
200 bhp or just to get it checked that the standard is supplying
eough?

the standard fuel pump should be fine mate as long as its in good working order

it will make alot more noise if its on the way out but if its nice and quiet all is good

That's not strictly true. A quiet fuel pump is not necessarily a happy fuel pump.

We test them using a piece of equipment that measures the performance of it whilst the car is running. We can see the rotation's of the motor in fine detail. This will certainly pick out a pump that is below efficiency.

A standard S2 pump will be fine for 200bhp, but my advice is to replace it with a new one if the car still has the original one fitted.

A quiet fuel pump might be a fuel pump not getting enough voltage to power it properly!!!

Nah, they made by bosch - mine was about 90 quid from Andrew Page. Divva is the man to talk to about Pumps
