Oh god not again

Please DO NOT put any stainless bolts on any load bearing parts - they are nowhere near strong enough.

You'd be better off tying it all together with string

Use only the properly rated bolts please, and if you want it to look bling then just get them plated.

aahhh i see,i thought stainless bolts were better than standard 1's.in that case is it possible to still get all of the standard ones,as i know ford dont do all the bolts anymore.

im not bothered about the bling i just thought people used em cus they were better!

An M6 or M8 bolt will be the same wherever you get them from.

Ford don't actually make any of them

Just find them your local hardware shop Source them from Fords and you'll pay 25p for the bolt and £2.50 for the bag it comes in

Why get bolts re-furbed?? If it even exists??

A Grade 8.8 bolt [which I think they all will be] is a grade 8.8 bolt....just get down your local hardware store with all your old ones and ask them to swop them for a new set Job done [As Tony says] if you want them to look bling then get plated versions

If there rusty [which they will be] then they're rust. Not much you can do to clean them up.....for the price of replacing them all its not worth the bother. I would guess you could do the whole of the rear suspension for about £30 max!!

John, you'd be surprised what people send us for sandblasting and re-plating

Still if it makes them happy then we'll do it

Your not telling me people go to the bother of having nuts and bolts blasted and plated!!

Surely that costs more than buying new
