BIG PROBLEM WITH THERMOSTAT!!!!! ANY IDEAS???
right took off thermo housing and put in thermo, top bold goes on no probs but the bottom one just keeps on turning
undun it and it looks like whats left of the thread on the bolt!!! like a tini slinky
so do you think ill get away with just retapping it or..........NOT!!!
PLEASE HELP!!!

Helicoil - you tap the thread slightly bigger than what you need then insert a steel helicoil (thread) & that reduces the size back to what you need.
