my clutch is covered in oil and the gearbox sounds like it died 2 weeks ago, still drives just rides at 30+ mph, the gearbox is a xr3i gearbox an the clutch is xr3i........ the car was a xr3i cabriolet bin converted to a rs turbo, i keep having this problem seals going and leakin oil all over the clutch (3rd time), my last rollin road was 186bhp, i hav a 1.8 diesel box spare which im gonna swap over with the xr3i box, which clutch wud i need..paddle? im on a budget so i cant get a rst box, jus need 2 no which clutch wud suit my car cheers

 

std clutch if under 200bhp if over ap 4 padle and out an rst box in it a diesel will not make fuck all diff

 

NJot being funny mate but you shouldn't really be running that type of car on a shoestring budget..........if you're going to do the job do it properly which is what I think Alex is saying reading between the lines. Put a proper box in with an LSD and a decent clutch.
