Default Alpha/Weber ECU useage?

currently running a 2 litre zetec on bodies mapped with an Alpha/Weber ecu (fully 3d mappable etc) and was wondering if this ecu would be able to map a turbo application on the same engine?

any ideas?

if not, what sort of prices are the megasquirt kits?

thanks

cheers alex!

also...

what are the benefits of having individual inlets (ie throttle body inlet) on a turbo'd car rather than the conventional RST style inlet manifold?

it has the fuel rail etc already on, and therefore all the wiring for the ecu, would it just be a case of getting some sort of custom inlet made up to go over the manifold??

and does anyone actually understand what i'm saying or am i just thinking complete balls?!

similar to what im doing mate.

depends on how much power you want really but should be pretty beefy

as you got em, you may as well use em

you will just need a custom inlet plenum that connects to the air filter.

There is little real benifit...

infact it makes it more complicated!!!!

Running one TB is easy as theres nothing to set up. Trying to tune individual TBs so that each cylinder can be fed the same amount of air is hard. For a start they are in a closed chamber!

Could you run a std inlet manifold?
