Default Why don't things last anymore?
Got some Gaz shocks been on car for approx 5 months and only 300 miles and there corroding already so much for zinc plating!!!!!!

What should i do ? any ideas?

It would just be nice for items to last for the duration of the said time!!!!!!

sould have gone for spax again my last set lasted 9 years and were still yellow!

I'd send em back mate, if they dont match what the manufacturer says then they should sort it out!

zinc is a sacrificial coating, it corrodes, then whats underneath corrodes. I would cake them in waxoil like james says, shouldnt have any probs then.

83 days then .. thats about a uk winter

i coated my leda's in copperslip still looking good 3 years later
would be worth asking the company what they think...
