problem with ecu

problem with ecu
On my cos 4*4 (non cat), i have an AB chip at this moment.
In the pass i bought a pectel baby board with collins chip, which was running with 803, T35, ......
I had another ecu, but a cat one. So, i had fit the baby board in my cat ecu, to test it on the car.
BUT, when i try to test it, i heard some electrical sound (i don't know the word in english) click, click, click..... and nothing work.
So, do you think that the pectel is compatible with the cat ecu or perhaps, i don't fit the baby board correctly
