Default escort cossie rims on s2

help can any1 tell me what arch-work i need 2 do to get my escort cossie rims 2 fit on my s2 escort rst?. what suspension would be best 2 use?, and how low should i drop it once the wheels are on?, the rims are wrapped in 215/45/16 tyres at the moment will these be ok? or would 205/16s be better, any advice would be much apreiciated. cheeRS

Stop shouting and take the Bold off mate!!

Try sending Thrush (Matt) a PM as I think he had proper EsCos wheels on his MK3 XR3i.

You'll need to do a fair bit of arch work I imagine, i.e Cut and roll the lip and probably remove the inner plastic arch liner.

As far as tyres go I think because there 8 inches wide the thinnest tyre you can get on there is a 215, and you'll need at least a 40 profile less if you can get it made!!

Hope this helps

i think i'd go for 205/40's on mine just to keep a bit of side wall but allow car to be lowered some.
still interested to find if its possible to machine the offset to a greater one??
opinions????????

205/40/16s are rare. Dont think there are many companies that make em.
