As Jano said the seals can't be purchased, but you can quite happily buy a nice new one for a ridiculous price. Are u sure its actually gone they're pretty good on these?

I've got a couple of spare ones in good condition though if u need one? Mine are 23mm ones.

PM me if u are interested

I'm not down grading to 23mm. The seals for the 22mm ones are avaliable, but not 25mm?

As above. Whats the story there Jano??

I managed to get a rebuild kit from Ford a couple of years ago (everyone was saying it couldn't be bought then too). One of the stupidest things I have ever done was to throw away the box with the Finis Code on it.

Personally, I think they can still be bought, just that they are hard to find on the Ford Computer, so most parts guys give up.

I got Microcat and it says Finis: 1640545 for the rebuild kit. Ford in Norway said it cost 53 pounds.

IIRC I have a 22mm cylinder and the pedal is spot on! Thats with rear discs (Cossie 2wd) and AP 4 pots on the front.

Bigger pistons in the caliper, bigger master cylinder.

Well if thats so then i guess all i can say is fairplay to you cos i upgraded mine to a 23 from a 22 and with a full 2wd set up and its clear its not up to the job.

I have to find a 25mm cylinder with 4 outlets, I'm happy to buy one but I also need a bias valve for the rear discs plumbing in too

Money, money, money - but worth spending it

Do u mean the factory bias valves or an in-car one? Did all S2's have a 25mm or was it like the 90 specs or something, thats one question ive always had above my head? I'm guessing the 90 specs?

Most had 25mm 2 port cylinder, but I have 4 brake lines coming from my cylinder...that's why it's prooving to be difficult finding a 25mm one

Ah i see, thats why i figured it was the 90 specs with 25's because didn't the bulk of the later models have ABS, and hence 2 ports on the cylinder. It's no big drama u can just use some T adapters to run all 4 brakes......
