Helloooo Everybody!!! Just bought a fiesta rst last week!!! have wanted one for years after my first Fiesta mk3 1.4cvh, and now can just afford the insurance Then i had a mk5 Escort 1.6, then/now 2000 Saxo VTR with the big wheels, big brakes, morette headlamp conversion, cage, s/s duplex exhaust, lowered, big MTX sound system, cobra sidewinders etc etc... im using this till the fiesta is ready.Dont want to sell it cause its a lovely wee car but needs must!! Fiesta's getting a new panel welded in and sprayed at the dreaded petrol cap then a good clean inside n out! i took it to my local garage and he said it was a solid wee car underneath etc and its had a few new parts fitted. the heater only blows cold and when he checked it out he found there was no thermostat in it!! the temp needle never goes over 1/4... surely this cant be good for it?? the oil cant be getting up to it optimum working temp fast enough?? Anyway my fingers are getting sore and am sure you'll all be bored of reading this already!! Hahaha!!

trust me mate,put the thermostat in asap. i just found out mine had no thermostat after driving it for miles after a new engine had been fitted and it drove like a banger!! i was in fith gear flat out doing 35mph!!! anyway welcome

 

welcome mate.nice 2 see u only just bought the frst and already have problems.

 

mechanic told me to get a new thermostat housing aswell, if anybody has one??? ive just hd a burst pipe on it today its a metal pipe, i think it comes out the top of the turbo goes into a rubber section (about three inches long which is the burst bit) then onto the metal pipe which joins a hose then goes into the top of the radiator??? its pissing out water and anti-freeze!!???
