This one;

My bro's fiancee has just got one, but only had a week or so, and she's fairly new to Nokia's in general (last few phones have been Motorola's or Ericsson's)..... I had a little play with it this afternoon and the first two things that struck me was a) how much lighter it felt than my N70, and b) how much faster it is at doing things than my N70!!!!! I like my N70, but the slowness of it is a bitch!!!!!!
I'm guessing that this 6280 is not on Symbian OS like the N70 (Nokia site says the "user interface" for the N70 is Series 60 platform on Symbian OS" while the 6280 just says "Series 40 platform, 3rd generation"....
Basically just interested to see if anyone has one and if they have lived with it for a bit, just give me a little run down on it's plus points and flaws? From what I gathered in my few mins playing with it was it is still a bit "all round the houses" when it comes to using it, as is my N70 (nowhere near as simple as my 6230) but the OS is similar to the 6230 in operation and interface than my N70's Symbian OS..... Internal memory isn't as good (10mb 6280 comparred to N70 22mb) but both have mem card slots, tho the N70 uses the mini MMC, while the 6280 uses a mini SD card which is odd as they aren't the same shape, nor are they interchangeable!!! Annoying, as I intend to get a 1gb mini MMC so I can use my phone as an MP3 player on holiday, etc, but in a years time when/if I change it to this 6280, I'll have to buy ANOTHER card....

EBR - my N70 doubles as an MP3 player and works just like a Nano, but an internal 4gb memory?!?!?! Thats insane!!!!!!
If I am gonna change phone again tho, I don't thinkI wanna go for another Symbian based one, as this is just sooooooooo fooking slow! My mates 6680 (basically same phone as N70) is slow as fook aswell!

6111, 1 meg camera, no expandable memory, very small but basic phone by todays standards, can get it in either black or pink, but basically its a small compact birds handbag phone
the other have has a pink one, she likes it

but depend on what you want the phone to do, tho the 6111 dont look like it would take much abuse wise unlike a 6230/i etc

Still not sure if I should get one.....
shame you can't get one on like a 30 day "test" thing - live with it for a month, see if you like it, if not send it back and don't end up paying for it
I've got a 6280. It's buggy as fuck IMO. For some reason, the phone crashes whenever it gets to a certain point in a mp3 file (the file is fine, used to play perfectly on the phone before), it also crashes when i tried to change the media player file location to the memory card. It also loses saved settings like the ring and text tones whenever it crashes. Pisses me off, i'm going to take it back and ask for a software upgrade on it or something.

Can't find anywhere that will do me a cheap one.. Don't want another contract phone, and can't find anyone to do em on Pay As You Go...
I have one too
Nice phone, but as said above quite slow to get into photos etc , camera and video good on the phone tho
I had it re-boot itself a couple of times and battery needs charging a little bit more than my old phone.
