Just been woken up my Dad goint mental - 4 twats trying to rob my car!
By sods law, left car on road last night after work because we having building work.
The alarm isnt working as it fucked itself when it was off the road. Still have 3 imobilisers though. They got in with minimal damage and unscrewed the cowling. The steering lock isnt broken but the column is twisted 90 degrees. Totally fuming, first time its been touched in 5 years of having it

I found running out of the front door clutching an air rifle and a meat clever works wonders in this situation.
Thieving, sticky fingered, inbred scumbags
Least you still got the car mate. Now get the alarm sorted asap as they know where the car is now.

Now what you really want is to catch these fookers on a PC based CCTV system with a wireless miniature camera in your car, like I have. It runs 24 hrs a day and as the cameras have infra red LEDs they work in the dark. The recording software is movement activated and records to a remote PC at my mate's house, over the internet, just in case the pikie twats break in to my house and pinch my PC as well.
The system also has remote viewing from any other PC over the internet. If any one is interested I'll sort out a temporary password for PF users to log into my system and have a look at what's going on round here

Thanks for all the concern and offers of help
I got a new column etc so parts weren't a prob - just all the bloody work. The lower bracket on the column and also where it bolts to were both v badly twisted. Had to take time off work to sort it - seats out, stripo it all down etc
Column is bolted back in straight now, so today i'll put rest back together, and then hopefully she'll be ready to drive to totb in

This is how the system works: http://www.geovision.com.tw and it cost me about Ł600 for everything.
To access my system go to my website http://www.deadly.eclipse.co.uk and follow the instructions for Pondcam, except login using these details:

Note the wireless camera is offline as it is actually fitted to my brother's car and he is now at work.
