Default How will i know if my car has traction control ?

When i wheel spin it makes loads of clunking noises..Sounds like something hitting the inside of the arch. At a ford meet before someone told me it was traction control. But i am pretty sure my car doesent have traction control so if its not traction control what will it be ?

Also the new ST i got to go for a drive in it did the exact same noise!

Cheers ben

Sounds like axel bounce. The wheel isnt spinning fast enough for it to lose proper traction so it grips and then loses traction again (all very quickly) and makes a horrible judder feeling when wheel spinning and generally isnt good for driveshafts, geaboxes and gearbox & engine mounts so DONT DO IT ROFLOL

BTW if you take a new car back into Ford garage and complain it judders when wheel spinning, they will charge you to look at it and then find something to replace and charge you for that too
