My engine is currently out of the car , i am goin to be puttin back in very very soon and just wondered if i can put the gear box in first then drop the block in.

Is there enough room to slide the block into the gearbox ????


I would make life alot easyer if i could cozz the fuckin gearbox support is a right shitter

yes

thats the way i do all mine

cradle first then gearbox

if you havnt fited your head on then fit the block first as its easier to do the engine mount bolt sup

then fit ya head

 

the engine is all back to gether , just a have the engine and gear box seperate.


Thanks for that, i think i will pop the box in first then, just need some gear box oil now then, what stuff is it again ???

tbh i carnt remember what gearbox oil i put in mine

also when fitting the engine make sure the bottom pulley is off as this will catch your inner wing and cus u grief

then once in just fit engine mount bit of a pain lining the bolt holes up but its easier that way
