Default Battery always going flat, have no idea why!!!

Right I have a 4x4 Stg3 saph.

I only really drive it at weekends as I dont need it for work, but every weekend or 2 the battery goes completely dead and the battery is only 3 months old.

I have checked that the stereo is not permanently on live, I have checked that all lights are off. The only thing that is on is the alarm but I cant see that draining the whole battery every week or 2.

It is really beginning to annoy me now as every weekend I need to charge the battery just to drive it.

Any ideas much appreciated.

I had the same problem after getting all electrics checked and battery replaced. I think it was my old security wiring. I have had a new cat 1 fitted and it seems to be better although not sure it has cured it 100% I was just disconnecting the battery if i knew it was gonna sit for a while.

The battery isnt getting its charge during the week? Ive had the same, my car doesnt go anywhere during the winter apart from in and out of the garage. My battery is about 3 months old and has gone flat already. Mines understandable, as it goes no where, sit in the garage, with the alarm on and nout charging it get a trickle charger, leave it on during the week and a fully working battery for the weekend

Had the same problem. By testing the fusebox with a multimeter we found out that the trunklight kept burning.

When you mean trunk i am guessing you are talking about boot light? as I do have a problem with my boot not closing properly. This could be leaving the connection open.

I will take a look and let you know the outcome.
