Default Cossie L1 and L6 ecu's...any real gains between the two????

Ay up people Are there any real advantages of L6 over L1?? I'll be sending 1 off (got both L1 and L6 kicking around my garage) for a coil pack conversion for my 3dr soon as and when funds are spare for it so wanna decide which should get the treatment??

Similar reason why you wouldn't want to run Windows 95 if you had XP available mate

L6 is the better of the 2

Newer so less chance of failure and more advanced.

But i'd personaly sell them both on ebay and get an L8

Im not too up on it all to be honest.

I believe its can be mapped for better fueling, cold start, smoother running etc.

You can run L8 on your standard loom,i think you have to swap the tps wires around

If your rebuilding it and the loom is out then get a new one

Hunt down an L8, no point investing the coilpack money in one of the others IMHO

I agree with Chip, get Stu to get it on closed loop as well

I have a level 8 somewhere.... although Martoon will have misplaced it somewhere by now I presume (misplaced on ebay! and 'accidently' pocketed the cash I mean! )
