Snowboarding ! websites, resorts etc...
Hi,
Me and a few mates want to book a snowboarding holiday next winter but havnt a clue where to start really ! Were going to learn throughout the year but having been skiing before and used to be a dab hand on a skateboard Im hoping it shouldnt be too hard to pick up lol.
What I want to know really is the following -
Websites on resorts + reviews etc...
Peoples views on resorts they've been to.
Whether its cheaper to book a whole package or do it seperately
Finally, some websites that offer holidays where I can look at prices etc..
ANY info will be much appreciated
Cheers, Duncan

You cant go wrong with Chamonix, check it out
the only downside is that you need to bus it(price covered by liftpass) to whichever resort you choose to board .
You will find that if your traveling through a tour operator that they will offer hire, lift passes etc on transfer from airport to resort.
Personaly if i didnt have my own eqipment I'd arrange hire through the Rep's in the resort as you will get decent equipment. I wouldnt arrange hire of equipment before I left the UK unless it was from a shop in the UK however that will mean paying the cost of transporting board boots bindings usualy adding Ł15 - Ł35 on top of hire.
