Default Ride height and its effects

Ok i found that my GTR is 20mm higher at the back than the front...so is making it level with the front the best set up for looks and handling?

I have no idea re handling as i had Spax on my Cossie and it so low i couldnt get over speed humps

Phil, unless you have a complaint with the handling, then ideally leave it alone.
If however you have chronic oversteer, then lowering the rear would tend to improve rear end grip (assuming that lowering didn't alter the geometry so as to give too much camber / toe etc).

Phil,
I thought that stance suited you and your car down to the ground .

Phil, after zoo corner weighted mine, it lowered the rear and the car is very flat now. I had the beam and other bits on at the same time so I cannot accurately desdcribe the effect of leveling/corner weighting the car on its own. What I will say is that it handles like a dream. Maybe leveling yours out will help. Do you have coilovers on the rear?

Deck it.
Unless you are continuously doing track days phil, you will realise that your greater needs would be for looks. I didn't know skylines did off roaders, and the only form of motorsport they used to excell at seemed to be JGTC and I tell you them ones looked awesome.
I doubt for one second that they ever nipped out to Tesco's for some dog food in them, but hey looks is IMO more important for you.
My car is v.v.low, even Mr. Gaybird comments on how my ride looks so good from the rear, but I do kill tyres due to an extreme camber, which also improves the handling!
