Default Power Engineering strut brace for s2

Just wondering if anyone knows the supplier Power Engineering used for a front strut brace my car used to have.
Spoke to the cars previous owner last night about it, as it might be beneficial to me now to have one fitted and i know KeithB would have only fitted one of the right quality

He said it was a German aluminium one that Power Eng sourced for him - would have been years ago and that it took a while to come

Anyone have any ideas or possible alternative suggestions

its more how its mounted, than the brace itself. They need to be bolted through proberly, not stupid little self tappers.

Contradiction.

The brace make the top of the inner wings into an box section around the engine as such.

The brace is the important part, not the mounting cause anyone with anysense or half a brain will mount it correctly, as the brace is a suspension aid and not a piece of bling shite like most people think it is....

Not a contradiction at all. I'm well aware what they do, and i have seen LOADS fitted for looks, which are held in by a few self tappers. The small screws will flex well before even the shitest alloy brace will. I'm pretty sure that a steel one would be better anyway.

Not the question - that would be how to mount a strutt brace.

If your just pretty sure and have no experience why you posting such nonsense.

Cheers, the standard sized brakes work well enough dont they Oh btw tell Mr C of APT that my 1990 mintex rear shoes did a decent job, as he ripped the piss out of me wanting and buying these

Im just trying to talk myself into more power with a new actuator and running 18+ psi instead of the 15 psi it was on track and some nice sticky R888 track tyres + some suspension work for more braking power and better cornering

I reckon you'll have to give us a ride in Grey next time your down this way again, from what i hear it doesnt hang about either, is it juicy ???

I couldn't believe they were std size
Christian, Andy's brakes are mint

Dunno what boost we'll have mine at yet, can't go much higher - but is nice to drive now with 16 held
I want those tyres too They had them on the Toyo stand at Autosport, looked the bee's knees s'pose that's what counts - might have to pick some up for the Pod

Will do I so should have done Bedford, would have been good to have yours mine and Tony's on track and seen the difference

ps It's very juicy, but maybe not for much longer

I watched the video back at home and i drove like a pussy on track I didnt use the brakes to their full performance, didnt use the full lenght of straights between corners for accelerating so i think i could have done better on track, but yeah a 3 way rumble on track would have been awesome.

Why not much longer, what you doing then ?
