The brace make the top of the inner wings into an box section around the engine as such.

The brace is the important part, not the mounting cause anyone with anysense or half a brain will mount it correctly, as the brace is a suspension aid and not a piece of bling shite like most people think it is....
Not a contradiction at all. I'm well aware what they do, and i have seen LOADS fitted for looks, which are held in by a few self tappers. The small screws will flex well before even the shitest alloy brace will. I'm pretty sure that a steel one would be better anyway.
Not the question - that would be how to mount a strutt brace.

If your just pretty sure and have no experience why you posting such nonsense.
