A CVH will do 180bhp all day long.

Without going into masses of detail the weaknesses in a CVH are are the rods in terms of strength, but you would be looking to change these at around 250bhp. Before then you will need headwork etc etc.

standard rods are good for up to 250 bhp! so being as you only want 185 they will be fine!

would be safe up to 18 psi as long as your metering head has been modded to provide the extra fuel needed. you cant actually get much better than a genuine Ford head gasket!

metering unit will need to be modded by a professional tuner and you would be better off with an uprated clutch!
