series 2 rear brake load compensating valves?
Can these mechanisms still be had from ford? If not any alternative suitable considering the weight in the rear of my car will never change i.e. no back seats.
thanks

i thought they were just load restricting devices rather than load compensating valves? i.e. just limit the pressure but not dependant on load??
maybe wrong but didnt think they were that clever like the later models have.

surely Id need 2 bias valves though and getting them the same would prove difficult would it not? Was thinking of using the valves that 3 doors use that are inline with the rear brakes, some kind of restrictor but not adjustable, just not sure how much it restricts the pressure?
remove the ones fromt he wisbones and replace them with pipes, then get somerestrictors like the mk3 onwards fiesta's have, these are right on the master cylinder of the fiesta but on my mates mk4 turbo, we put them on the rear chassis rails where the bracket is where the brake lines join, or you could screw them straight into the caliper then put your brake lines into thses, they are cheap and very effective, basically just a reducer for the rear brakes!!

Right basically.
U run 2 lines to a T piece. 1 from each drum. I imagine these should ideally be the same length.
The you run a line to the master cylinder and in that line some where near the drivers seat you have a bias valve. Thus u need 1 valve to control power to both brakes.
This is how my set up will be and how Big P had his ( I have his diagram on my pc but I wont embarece him with putting it up.)
